My Dishwasher Is On the Loose

Theo is wondering where his water and food bowl have gone.

No, this isn’t how I envisioned the new look for my kitchen. The nice but not helpful Sears Delivery Man wouldn’t even attempt removing Ye Olde Dishwasher and installing the brand spanking new beauty because – and I quote – “Dat cabinet’s too small.”

Our plumber came to the rescue and extracted the old machine in order to enlarge the cabinet opening. Unfortunately, he left it as seen above, much to my consternation and Theo’s confusion.

As soon as the dearly anticipated and long overdue new dishwasher is officially installed, I’ll let ya know.

  1. To wiggles,

I came across your post and I wanted to reach out and apologize that our installer was unable to assist recently with the installation of your dishwasher. I wanted to also make sure that you weren’t having issues rescheduling for your installation. My name is James and I’m part of the Sears Cares Escalations team and we value you as a customer. We’d like to discuss this further with you. At your convenience, please contact my office via email at smsupport@searshc.com. In the email, please provide a contact phone number and the phone number the installation was scheduled under (if different than the contact phone number) and we will call you directly. Also, in your email, please provide your screen name (wiggles) for reference to your issue, and we do look forward to talking to you soon.

    Thank you,
    James H.
